They're a bit big for puppies, though marginally more self-sufficient, I'd bet. They can at least take themselves out for walks.

Well, I'm not sure what I needed to be safe from, but I certainly wasn't safe from the chair toppling over with me stuck on it. So, a mixed result at best.
