[ It's a pretty great bed. As bed's she's ended up in for a night go, this one's near the top, the kind of bed she imagines her really rich pureblood friends from school always slept in. That, more than anything is what has Marlene's eyes snapping open and shifting to one side.

Bellatrix Black. There's a look of mild horror, just for a moment, before it's replaced with a smirk. This is going to bother the customer of the year more than her. ]

In spite of some obvious health and safety violations, the place almost forces you to have a good time, and, as far as she can tell, before she opens her eyes, is that she has had an excellent time last night indeed.

It's the shifting that woke her up – she is as light a sleeper as it gets – but it's the voice that has her visibly tense. )

( Her usual cold, polite tone is just slightly off-key. This is not alright, it's not at all fine, it's like living a nightmare, and she quietly resents the fact that, just half a minute ago, she had felt perfectly content with life. )

( Rodolphus isn't her primary concern, really, but to say that he doesn't make the list at all would be a lie. )

[ It's never the last time, when it comes to pureblooded snobs and The Closet. The seedy, gritty pub seems to draw them like bees to honey, or socialites to bad decisions. Marlene's there most often because the drinks are cheap and the fun's always plentiful.

Bellatrix wouldn't be her first choice to go home with. Or second, or third. She would be, frankly, low on the list. Marlene doesn't go for people who look at her like she's a bad smell, but it's worth it for pale as milk Bellatrix Black looking like she's deciding between dignity or sprinting out of her own bed.

Marlene stretches out a leg that's surprisingly long for someone as small as her.]

( Bella "My Family Would Disown Me" Black's gaze is absolutely following her leg, and that really doesn't help her general mental state, to say the least. Memory does trickle back ––

Funnily enough, her discomfort is entirely limited to her face. The fact that she herself is, still, entirely naked doesn't seem to bother her at all, she has all the body confidence a person could possibly ask for and then some. What she does, however, do, is draw her left arm a little closer to her body. Not that it's a known symbol, yet. )

I can call a house elf, if you are hungry. They are less likely to turn this into a scandal.

( She did find her manners among all the horror. And it's not actually Dolph she is concerned about, regarding the scandal –– it's just that Lucius and her have played rather dirty before, and that could happen again, couldn't it? )

[ She doesn't feel sympathy for Bellatrix Black - she doesn't. Bellatrix thinks of her as lesser because her mother happened to be a pretty girl from Camden with no magic to speak of. And yet, when she slants a look over at her, she sighs a little at the pained look.]

You've brought me to Lestrange Manor. There isn't really anyone here who is really going to look to get you disowned, Bellatrix. Especially since I'm not the only half-blood brought back here last night.

[ She was less drunk than the rest, so she remembers how the evening at The Closet ended. The only pureblood who came back to the manor with a resident was Elektra Burke. ]
