1. My weirdest encounter with a stranger though was when for some reason they just gave me a box of unopened socks. Needless to say, I never used them.

Why not? They could have been magical socks. Also, the package was unopened. I say - never turn away free socks.

My Uncle Ron gave me a pair of socks that were charmed to resist holes. He called them 'Holey Socks' which doesn't make much sense, but he seemed to be rather thrilled by it.

I'd consider those socks to be magical.

Also, levitating socks. Those would be incredibly wicked.
